Principal Drinking Water Consultant/ Founder
My name is Derrick Cook, and I am a certified drinking water professional holding DW-B, DS-III, and WW-D certifications. I bring over five years of hands-on experience operating an iron removal drinking water treatment plant, including direct involvement with the distribution system.
Following my time as an operator, I spent more than three years with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, where I taught drinking water courses for operator certification, conducted system inspections, responded to concerns about drinking water, and provided technical and compliance assistance to public water systems.
I utilize my combined operational and regulatory experience to assist water systems in achieving and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. I also offer operator training and certification courses to support both initial certification and renewal hour needs.
